| About us Estd. 1995 |
| Beacon House is a small friendly, multi-cultural Nursing Home. Located in the suburban area of Southall, West London. It is a modern purpose-built Tudor style town house accommodating twenty residents over the age of 20 years. There is good disability access and parking facilities in the front and an attractive patio at the rear. Beacon House is within a five-minute car drive to the local shops, theatre, social clubs, library and railway stations. Gurdwaras, Temples, Mosques and Christian Churches all nearby catering for all religious backgrounds. When people have worked hard throughout their life but have then reached the point where illness or disability prevents them from living in their own home we believe they deserve extra cherishing, we believe Beacon House is the home they need, where individuality is emphasised, with staff who care and have time to give attention to small details. Beacon House is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is governed by the Care Standards Act 2000. Beacon House is accredited with ISO 9002 since June 2000. Beacon House provides for a wide spectrum of cultural backgrounds. Our staff are conversant in the appropriate languages, which reflects cultural understanding. The Nursing & Midwifery Council has accredited Beacon House as a Teaching Care Home for the supervised training to foreign nurses. The course is run in conjunction with Thames Valley University. |
